Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and enhancing operational efficiency within our facility. This position requires a strong foundation in engineering principles, hands-on experience with manufacturing technologies, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Duties
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes that meet quality standards and production goals.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues effectively.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to support fabrication, welding, and tooling activities.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
- Interpreting customer drawings
- Creating Bills of Material
- Determining manufacturing processes
- Working with Manufacturing Planners to create manufacturing plans
- Managing projects through engineering processes
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and CAM programming is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is preferred.
- Experience with project scheduling and managing timelines effectively.
- Basic office and Computer skills including Outlook, Excel, power point, etc.
