DERMATOLOGY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!
CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT IS REQUIRED!

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collecting and processing specimens, preparing for exam. Assists physicians with various procedures, relay instructions to patients; answer patient call’s and provide pertinent information
- Intake of general dermatology patients and scribe for physicians
- Inventory, orders and re-stock of medical supplies
- Assist with Mohs surgery, assist with fillers and Botox, assist with Laser Hair Removal, PRP, excisions
- Send out e-prescriptions
- Assist provider in recording prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant certificate program from an approved school Certification as a Medical Assistant
- E-clinical Works knowledge a plus
- Must have at least one year's experience working in either a dermatology or plastic surgery office
- Must be computer savvy

- Dermatology: 2 years (Required)
- EMR systems: 2 years (Required)
- Vital signs: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
