Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Touchbistro POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Manage multiple tables efficiently by prioritizing tasks with excellent time management skills
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems like TouchBistro and cashiering procedures
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff and fellow team members when needed
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Support overall restaurant operations during busy nights, including nightclubs or special events
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Touchbistro POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
- Proven ability in upselling, sales techniques, and guest engagement
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation protocols diligently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and bill splitting
- Experience with food handling, food safety standards, and kitchen support roles
- Knowledge of restaurant operations including serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, and nightclubs if applicable
- Strong time management skills to manage multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Hospitality background or related experience in the food industry is highly desirable
