The Opportunity:
As a House Manager, you'll oversee daily non-clinical operations, supervise Direct Care Staff, and ensure a positive living environment. This is an excellent chance to apply your human services knowledge and gain practical experience.
Responsibilities Include:
Key Responsibilities: Client Care & Compliance
- Oversee the implementation of individualized service plans (PCPs) and ensure goals are monitored and documented.
- Ensure all documentation related to client care (e.g., MARS, progress notes, incident reports, IRIS reports) is accurate and completed in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to client-related emergencies and behavioral crises.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and Abiding Path policies.
Staff Management
- Supervise direct care staff and ensure coverage on all shifts.
- Be the point of contact when a staff member calls out—either finding a replacement or covering the shift when necessary.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and coaching as needed.
- Monitor staff compliance with training, certifications (e.g., First Aid/CPR), and client rights.
- Ensure all staff folders are complete with required documents: orientation certificates, offer letters, HCPR, signed job descriptions, etc.
Operations & Administration
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, licensing regulations, and safety protocols.
- Ensure fire drills are conducted monthly across all shifts.
- Oversee weekly grocery shopping and review/approve menus for the home.
- Ensure the home remains clean, safe, and functioning for residents and staff.
- Conduct weekly audits of client and staff files to ensure regulatory readiness.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives and internal audits.
- One Weekend Shift Required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in human services, psychology, social work field or related experience.
- 1-2 Years Experience working with youth in a structured setting.
- Strong organizational, communication, and crisis response skills.
- Commitment to Abiding Path's mission.
- Strong verbal and written Communication skills.
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Valid NC Driver’s License
