Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Lead Electrician/Foreman to oversee electrical construction projects within the commercial and residential sectors. This role involves managing electrical crews, ensuring safety compliance, interpreting technical drawings, and coordinating project schedules. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, construction management expertise, and a thorough understanding of electrical systems to drive successful project completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical teams on construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specifications
- Review and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical schematics to guide installation processes
- Coordinate construction schedules using project management software such as Primavera P6 and Construction management tools like ProCore and Bluebeam
- Manage daily site operations, including safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and federal construction safety regulations
- Oversee quality control measures, ensuring all work meets industry standards and client expectations
- Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, procurement, and contract management to keep projects on track
- Supervise crew management activities including training, performance evaluations, and enforcing safety standards
Experience
- Proven experience as a Lead Electrician or Foreman in commercial or heavy industrial construction projects
- Extensive knowledge of construction management software such as Primavera P6, Primavera P3, HeavyBid, ProCore, Bluebeam, and other construction scheduling tools
- Strong background in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively within a fast-paced construction environment
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and federal safety standards related to electrical work on construction sites
- Hands-on experience with construction site safety management and quality assurance procedures
- Excellent communication skills for managing crews, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with all construction regulations
