With direction from the Chief Recruitment Officer, this role is responsible for full-time and college Network Office recruitment and selection efforts. This role will execute office recruiting plans to reach activity and both full-time and college contract goals.
Primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
· Master information and language regarding all aspects of the financial representative career and internship as well as each step of the selection process.
· Build and develop effective referral sources with financial representatives/staff, develop productive centers of influence (COIs) and develop qualified lead strategies from a variety of sources (i.e., referrals, COIs, advertising, career fairs, social media, etc.)
· Actively participate in community and campus clubs and organization to promote and brand Northwestern Mutual; develop centers of influence in community and on campus.
· Conduct screening calls, in-depth interviews, and articulate steps in the selection process to candidates.
· Coordinate advertising and marketing strategies to include ads, direct mail, community events, etc.
· Develop relationships with other Northwestern Mutual recruiters to share leads and best practices.
· Specific selection process accountability to include but not limited to screening candidates, conducting initial interviews, administering selection tools and guiding candidates through the selection process.
· Review resumes and schedule initial interviews and all corresponding steps of the selection process.
· Effectively communicate with candidates.
· Maintain database of all campus and full-time recruiting & selection activity for the Network/District Network Office daily
· Report weekly recruiting activity to leadership team.
· Develop proficiency and use of home office-supported software to maintain candidate databases and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the selection process.
· Assist in the coordination of leadership team meetings and the preparation of activity/results reports.

- Work with the leadership team to coordinate recruiting efforts.
- Maintain sufficient inventory of all recruiting materials & supplies needed
- Develop programs/contests as needed to enhance office recruiting results
- Provide support to leadership team members for recruiting & selection efforts
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Two years progressively responsible work experience required, preferably in sales, recruiting or financial services industry.
- Strong communication skills required with the ability to build rapport and influence others.
- Highly organized and technology savvy
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
