Lead Test Operator
Express Employment Professionals is hiring four Lead Test Operators for an advanced aerospace manufacturing operation. This hands-on role supports the installation, instrumentation and testing of newly built small turbine engines in a fast-growing production environment.
Pay: $25-$35 DOE
Schedule: Day shift - M-Th 7a-5:30p
Location: Denver, CO - onsite
Position Type: Full-time; Contract to Hire

Job Highlights

Install and remove turbine engines from test cells

Connect thermocouples, pressure transducers, strain gauges and accelerometers

Execute pre-programmed test sequences

Perform mechanical and electrical work on cables, pipes, fittings and fixtures

Read work instructions, blueprints and schematics
-
Inspect tested components using prescribed measuring equipment

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and instrumentation issues

Maintain equipment and support improvements to testing procedures

Document work progress, technical data and corrective actions
What We Look For
-
Four years of related experience
-
Two years of mechanical and/or electrical assembly testing
-
Experience using hand, power and pneumatic tools
-
Ability to follow standard work instructions and strict safety procedures

Blueprint and schematic-reading ability
-
Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills
-
Regulated manufacturing experience preferred

Turbine-engine, hydraulic, fuel-system or electrical-cabling experience is helpful

Ability to stand for most of the shift and lift up to 35 pounds
-
U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a government security clearance
