Overview
We are a small business that offers therapeutic experiences on the farm with cows, aka cow cuddling, and sells agricultural products. We are looking for an animal lover who isn't afraid of hard work to help with morning and evening chores a few times a week.
Duties
- Scoop manure
- Feed and water animals- cows, cats, chickens, occasionally horses
- Brushing and spraying for flies
- Gather eggs
- Get hay
- Taking out trash/light cleaning
- Clean chicken coops
- Closing the chicken coops at dusk
- Moving fans, opening umbrellas, cleaning sitting areas
- Collecting trash around the property
Hours
- AM chores - 7:30am-9:30am - a few mornings during the week - this could be seasonal so if you are free during the summer but not when school starts that is okay
- PM chores- 5:30pm -8:30pm - Wednesdays and as needed
Pay
- Training is $8, then $10-12 when you are able to do tasks independently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in farming or agricultural work is preferred
- Familiarity with animal handling and care
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
