Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Furniture Trimmer to join our production team. This position is responsible for applying fabric and/or leather to furniture frames, ensuring a high-quality finished product. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, takes pride in their work, and can maintain production standards.
Responsibilities
- Apply fabric or leather to furniture frames
- Stretch, staple, and secure materials to ensure proper fit and finish
- Read and follow production tickets and specifications
- Inspect frames and materials before and during trimming
- Maintain consistent quality and production standards
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety guidelines
Experience
- Previous furniture trimming experience required
- Ability to work with various materials (fabric, leather)
- Skilled in the use of staple guns, trimming tools, and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to meet daily production goals
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
