Requirements:
- Must be pursuing a Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline (ABA, Special Education, etc.,)
- Be eligible to sit for the BACB Examination
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Write all treatment plans and assessments/re-assessments using company template under the supervision and guidance of BCBA
- Create, edit, and maintain all goals, targets, and teaching instructions in Central Reach under the supervision and guidance of BCBA
- Assist BCBA with parent communication by:
- Participate in monthly collaboration meeting for each child with SLP and OT, as requested by the BCBA
- Contact parents to provide therapy and health updates as directed by BCBA
- Remind parents about staff training, clinic activities, and day-to-day needs
- Assist in the intake process in collaboration with BCBA by:
- Assist BCBA with evaluations for new children on caseload
- Discuss general details of what the therapy day may entail in collaboration with BCBA
- Plan, coordinate, and assist with gathering new patient materials
- Load goals and teaching instructions into Central Reach platform with approval from BCBA
- Maintain existing caseload in collaboration with BCBA by:
- Assist BCBA with re-evaluation of each child within 3 weeks prior to authorization end date-update and send treatment plan to BCBA to review and approve. Make edits to treatment plans as recommended by BCBA
- Inform and train RBTs of new/updated goals in collaboration with BCBA
- Assist BCBA with preparing and conducting parent trainings/progress updates on a weekly basis
- Conduct assessments as needed (Skill Acquisition Assessments/Behavioral Assessments/Preference Assessments) in conjunction with BCBA
- Review skill and behavior data and make adjustments as needed with BCBA approval
- Ensure that all data is graphed or filed (organized for use when requested)
- Request training in teaching methods when needed for clients
- Plan, coordinate, and assist with gathering existing patient materials
- Assist BCBA to maintain and support RBT staff by:
- Record minutes during RBT trainings and ensure that all RBTs receive a copy of minutes
- Serve as a resource for questions and maintain an open door policy
- Collect IOA Data (Treatment/Intervention Integrity) and provide training as needed in conjunction with BCBA
- Collect IOA of RBT Data (Treatment/Intervention Integrity) and utilize as needed
- Conduct assessments (Reinforcer Assessments, Preference Assessments) and utilize as needed
- Provide assistance on floor when needed
- Collaborate with the BCBA andOffice Manager to pair clients with therapists appropriately and assist with scheduling needs
- Coordinate and assist with pickup and dropoff routine for clients
- Must have scheduled plan to pass BCBA Examination within
- Assist Office Manager with interviews as needed
- Plan, coordinate, and run Circle Time and Social Time as needed
- Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification
