Position Summary
Autoloanz Finance is seeking a full-time, motivated, and detail-oriented Collections Representative to manage customer accounts, secure payments, and maintain positive client relationships. This role is ideal for someone who communicates confidently, handles sensitive conversations with professionalism, and thrives in a fast-paced financial environment.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
This position requires prior experience in Collections and/or Account Management. While strong customer service skills are also required, they are not sufficient as the sole qualification for this role.
Hours of Operation (APPLICANTS MUST HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY)
Mon-Fri: 9am-6pm, Sat: 9am-4pm, Sun: CLOSED
Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers via phone, email, and text regarding past-due accounts
- Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve delinquencies
- Review account details and document all collection activity
- Maintain compliance with company policies and collection regulations
- Educate customers on payment options and account status
- Work collaboratively with underwriting and servicing departments
- Meet or exceed collection performance metrics
- Handle disputes and escalate complex situations when necessary
Required Qualifications
- Previous collections, account management and customer service experience
- Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally
- Basic computer skills and comfort with account management systems
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
