Job Summary
We are seeking a CDL Crane Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate cranes and hoists to safely set and pull vertical turbines in water wells. We are seeking to create an additional crew for our workforce. You will be tasked with moving 15Ton, 17Ton, and 30Ton cranes to jobsites, pulling the line shaft turbine assembly and bringing back to our shop for repair. After Repair, you will be tasked with safely and properly returning to the jobsite to set turbine assembly into the well. You will also be tasked with managing a crew in the field for installs and pulls, as well as on down days back at the shop.
Responsibilities
- Operate cranes and hoists
- Manage a grounds crew while operating and at shop
- Inspect pulled turbine for repair and fill out repair sheet for machine shop
- Transfer Turbines to well sites and safely Install and pull for repair
- Routinely inspect equipment and perform safety checks
- Perform basic repairs
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols
- Communicate verbally and nonverbally with ground operators
Qualifications
- Previous knowledge of Vertical Turbines and Installation
- Previous experience in operation and driving cranes and hoisting
- Commercial drivers’ license
- Ability to pass background and drug check
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including working at heights, standing for extended periods, and lifting heavy objects
- Excellent attention to detail and focus
