We are looking to hire another Retail Sales Associate for our sample sale clothing store at Roosevelt Field Mall. We are looking for reliable and experienced team members who can create a great customer experience while driving sales.
About the role:
The Retail Sales Associate is a brand ambassador; responsible for providing a personalized client experience, building strong client relationships, meeting and exceeding sales targets. This individual is a team player that delivers the highest standards of the Shop The Sample client experience.
What you'll do:
- Represent Shop The Sample; be friendly, reliable, collaborative, and act with integrity as a representative of the brand.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of available brands and general inventory.
- Provide outstanding customer service to everyone that walks through our doors, ensuring that every client's needs are taken care of.
- Be creative and entrepreneurial; make recommendations to management based on your observations and client experiences.
- Make meaningful relationships with new clients by introducing the brand, getting to know them, and making recommendations based on their lifestyle.
- Foster relationships with existing clients; continuously build upon your current relationships through various outreach initiatives.
- Be a team player; collaborate with your peers and contribute to the overall success of the store.
- Drive and exceed individual KPI goals, by ensuring the highest level of Customer Service and quality of sales.
- Support the management team with operational duties as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Core responsibilities:
- Greeting customers at the door and informing them on our current brands and promotions.
- Actively searching for and assisting shoppers within the store in order to encourage sales.
- Encouraging prospective customers to follow/join our Instagram, WhatsApp group, and email list.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Retail Sales Experience.
- Confident, outgoing, and personable.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
- Solutions based thinker with proactive behavior to back it.
Pay Range:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour. (Compensation is based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, etc.)
