As a Principal Proactive Sourcer, you'll play a key role in supporting Baker Hughes, a global energy technology company committed to advancing energy for people and the planet. Working remotely, you'll partner closely with Recruiters dedicated to the Czech market, helping them identify and engage top talent across a diverse portfolio of roles.
Success in this role goes beyond filling pipelines. You'll take the time to understand hiring needs, anticipate future demand, and develop sourcing strategies that connect exceptional people with exciting career opportunities. You won't wait to be told what to do next—you'll naturally think ahead, challenge traditional sourcing methods, and continuously look for new ways to reach the right talent.
Using market intelligence, hiring trends, and your sourcing expertise, you'll build targeted talent pipelines across a broad range of production and manufacturing roles within the Czech market. Your primary focus will be on attracting talent for operational and technical positions supporting manufacturing operations, while also contributing to hiring across business functions such as finance, administration, document control, planning, and engineering. No two days will be the same, and you'll enjoy the variety of partnering with recruiters on diverse hiring goals.
- Fully utilize relevant ATS (Applicant Tracking System) ensuring that activities are conducted within the ATS as appropriate, that data accuracy and quality is maintained through all processes and that it accurately reflects the status of all activity
- Engage with Recruiters and Hiring Managers (as directed) to take detailed briefs on role requirements, contributing knowledge and best practice to add value to discussions
- Proactively source (identify) candidates utilizing a broad range of channels and techniques (e.g. search engines, job board databases, social networking sites) utilizing Channel Activation Matrices or other directions as appropriate. Employ innovative techniques to identify elusive talent in the market
- Develop own network of sector-specific candidates and utilize networking skills to identify and engage with talented candidates (i.e. referrals from referrals, cold-calling, etc.)
- Engage with identified candidates to qualify suitability for the role, to sell the role and prospective Client and to encourage candidate to actively apply for role
- Build and develop talent pools of qualified candidates (prior to application or post application as directed), utilizing CRM (Candidate Relationship Management) technology where appropriate, managing candidate communications as directed to ensure talent pools remain relevant.
- Ensure regular communication with Client Services team to understand on-going requirements and to share progress of activity
- Maintain agreed service levels and targets
- Appropriately escalate any issues in relation to the supply of effectiveness
- Strong sourcing skills ideally with the ability to identify and engage blue-collar talent across manufacturing, production, warehouse, and skilled trades.
- Full proficiency in English and Czech
- Knowledge of blue-collar talent markets and effective sourcing channels.
- Proficiency in ATS, CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other sourcing tools.
- Ability to attract and engage both active and passive candidates through social media, networking, and direct sourcing.
- Skilled in talent mapping, pipeline building, and market research.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to build effective partnerships with recruiters, hiring managers, and business leaders.
