Responsibilities
- Open and close the store confidently, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately
- Lead daily store operations including sales management, inventory control, merchandising, and cash handling
- Supervise team members during shifts, providing guidance on customer service, sales techniques, and operational tasks
- Assist with recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new employees
- Manage POS systems for transactions, and maintaining accuracy in cash handling.
- Oversee stock levels, inventory management, purchasing decisions, and pricing strategies to maximize sales opportunities
- Support training and development initiatives to enhance team skills in retail sales, product knowledge, and operational procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within the retail industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
- Excellent communication skills;
- Proficiency with POS systems, and basic math for cash handling and sales calculations
- Demonstrated ability to handle customer service issues professionally and efficiently
- Experience with merchandising, stock replenishment, and retail math concepts
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and operational task
