Duties

Clean rooms and public spaces with attention to detail within the expected guidelines

Identify areas needing cleaning or maintenance attention and communicate effectively with housekeeping staff to address issues promptly

Conduct comprehensive inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to brand standards

Verify that all cleaning procedures including floor care, industrial cleaning, and janitorial tasks—are completed to standard

Document inspection results accurately and prepare reports highlighting areas for improvement or follow-up actions

Monitor the proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations

Assist in training new housekeeping team members on quality standards and inspection protocols

Support ongoing efforts to improve cleaning processes and uphold exceptional hospitality service

Assist in all areas of housekeeping as needed to make the team successful including: Public Area, Housekeeping, and Laundry
Skills

Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including floor care and industrial cleaning methods

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality environments

Familiarity with janitorial equipment, cleaning chemicals, and safety procedures

Excellent attention to detail with an eye for spotting cleanliness issues or safety hazards

Effective communication skills for coaching staff and reporting inspection findings clearly
