L.E.B.S. Electric, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our Sarasota office. This role is responsible for coordinating the procurement of materials, equipment, tools, and services required to support commercial electrical construction projects throughout Florida. The Purchasing Manager plays a pivotal role in upholding project schedules, managing costs, developing strong supplier relationships, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of materials.

Manage the purchasing process for electrical construction projects, from procurement to delivery.

Source, evaluate, and negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with vendors and suppliers.

Prepare and issue purchase orders for project materials, equipment, tools, and supplies.

Coordinate material deliveries to ensure project schedules are maintained and deadlines met.

Review project drawings, specifications, and material requirements for procurement accuracy.

Collaborate with Project Managers, Estimators, Foremen, and field personnel to identify and fulfill material needs.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of stock items.

Track and resolve material shortages, delivery delays, and vendor discrepancies.

Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing databases, and vendor files.

Analyze purchasing trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers.

Verify invoices and purchase orders for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and project cost control initiatives.

Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual purchasing requirements.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.

Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating pricing agreements.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience in electrical contracting, construction, or a related industry.

Experience with ERP, purchasing, or construction management software.
