As a Locum MD specializing in Hematology Oncology, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients with blood disorders and cancer. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans that enhance patient outcomes. - Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions

Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans

Prescribe and manage chemotherapy and other medical treatments

Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Participate in patient care conferences and case reviews

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Educate patients and families regarding treatment options and care plans

Stay updated with medical advancements in hematology and oncology
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school

Valid medical license to practice in the state of Connecticut

Completion of residency in hematology oncology

Clinical experience in hematology and oncology

Strong diagnostic skills and clinical judgment

Schedule: 8:00a-4:30p
Weekend call, 1:9
Daily Census: 13-16 patients
Appointment Durations: 60 minutes for new patients, 40 minutes for transfer patients, 20 minutes for routine follow-ups
40% benign / 60% malignant
Support Staff: 10 MDs and 12 APPs
Must be board-certified
Paid travel and expenses
