Debelak Consulting Group is partnering with a leading global food manufacturer to identify experienced Industrial Electricians for a high-volume production facility in the Chicago area.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable manufacturing operation where you'll play a critical role in maintaining automated production equipment, troubleshooting electrical systems, and minimizing downtime in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems and manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain and service 480V electrical systems, PLC-controlled machinery, and VFDs.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Follow all plant safety procedures, including LOTO and electrical safety standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to support continuous operations.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with 480V electrical systems.
- Experience working with PLCs and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
- Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Experience supporting automated manufacturing or production equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Mechatronics, electrical, or industrial maintenance certifications are a plus.
