Great Service Makes Sense.®
It’s not just a tagline—it’s how we operate. We’re a family-owned, local HVAC company that prioritizes real human connections over call centers and big corporate confusion.
Who We Are (And Who We Aren't)
Let's be honest: a lot of companies in this industry just want to turn you into a high-pressure salesperson with a tool bag. That’s not us. We recently won the BBB Torch Award for Ethics because we don't push quotas, we don't sell people things they don't need, and we do the job right.
We also believe in the community we serve, which is why we give back to a different local non-profit initiative every single month. We are looking for an energetic, intelligent, and hard-working Installation Specialist Assistant who wants to learn the trade from the ground up. Whether you are fresh out of school or already have some field experience but are sick of the corporate grind, if you want a company where your work is valued and you can build a legitimate career, you belong here.
The Role This is a hands-on, heavy-lifting learning opportunity with a direct path to advancement. You won't be sweeping the shop floor all day. You will be working directly with our Lead Installation Specialist and our Installation Manager to execute high-quality HVAC installs. Your job is to keep the site moving, learn the "why" behind the "how," and prove you have what it takes to eventually step into a Lead role yourself.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing:
- Assisting the Lead Specialist and Install Manager in the physical installation of HVAC systems.
- Fabricating and assembling ducts and fittings.
- Pulling the equipment and materials needed for daily installations.
- Making runs to supply houses to pick up and deliver parts to technicians in the field.
- Maintaining a spotless equipment/work area and keeping the company vehicle clean and serviced.
- Doing the heavy lifting—navigating tight crawlspaces, hot attics, and freezing basements
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table:
- The Right Attitude: You are coachable, energetic, and want to master a trade.
- The Grit: You have the ability to lift 100 pounds, handle hard labor, and work outdoors in all types of New England weather.
- The Basics: 1+ years of trade-specific experience or similar technical aptitude is highly preferred.
- The Professionalism: A valid driver’s license with a clean record, and a neat, clean, professional appearance.
- Preferred (But Not Required): EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification and NH Gas Installer License. If you don't have these yet, we want to help you get them!
The Perks (Why You Want to Work Here)
We aren't a big-box company, which means we can treat you like a human being.
- Competitive Pay: $18.00 - $25.00/hr based on experience, plus overtime opportunities.
- Paid Birthday Off: Because your special day matters!
- Company Attire: We provide your gear, plus a Boots & Pants allowance.
- Work-Life Balance: Paid Holidays and PTO. We want you to have time for what matters most.
- Health & Future: Health Insurance and a Retirement Plan with a Company Match.
- Career Growth: Direct, on-the-job mentorship with our team to help you earn your licenses and step up to a Lead role.
