Responsibilities
- Operate Electrostatic spray guns, including airless paint sprayers and conventional spray equipment, to apply coatings accurately on products.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by performing sanding, cleaning, and surface treatment in accordance with construction painting surface preparation standards.
- Handle materials using forklifts and hand tools safely to move components through various stages of production.
- Interpret production documents such as work orders, process sheets, and quality standards to ensure proper application techniques and coating specifications are met.
- Conduct visual color comparisons and inspect finished products for coating consistency, quality standards in production, and defect detection.
- Maintain adherence to personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols, including respirator use and respiratory protection measures during spray operations.
- Support powder coating processes and finishing tasks by operating machinery with mechanical knowledge and precision measuring instruments.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling materials, operating power tools, machining equipment, and performing construction painting surface preparation.

Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial painting environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right motivated candidate.
- Familiarity with coating application techniques such as powder coating, industrial painting, and coating spray guns is advantageous.
- Basic math skills are necessary for measuring materials accurately and interpreting production documentation.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to PPE use, respirator maintenance, and handling hazardous materials is highly valued.
- Mechanical aptitude or experience with hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, or assembly processes will support success in this role.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail under production deadlines is essential.
