Responsibilities
- Deliver expert hair styling, coloring, hair extensions, and hair care treatments tailored to each client’s needs and preferences
- Perform precise barbering services including straight razor shaves and traditional grooming techniques
- Manage client consultations to understand their desired look and provide professional recommendations based on color theory and current trends
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness according to industry regulations
- Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail sales tracking
- Mentor and train junior stylists on techniques like hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care
- Upsell retail products effectively by educating clients on hair care routines and retail math principles
Skills
- Extensive experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of hair styling and coloring work
- Proficiency in salon software systems like MINDBODY for managing appointments and client information
- Skilled in hair extensions, hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care techniques
- Deep understanding of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Knowledge of color theory to achieve precise color matching and creative results
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients, listen actively, and provide personalized recommendations
- Strong store management skills including retail sales, upselling, retail math, front desk duties, and client communication
- Experience mentoring team members to foster skill development and professional growth
