Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 per Week
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 13-week contract at a Long-Term Care/Rehabilitation facility in Utica, NY. The ideal candidate will have prior LTC experience, excellent patient care skills, and be comfortable working with geriatric residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Take and record vital signs.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
- Provide personal hygiene and grooming assistance.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition.
- Document care accurately in PointClickCare (PCC).
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
- Float to other units within the same building when required.
- Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary teams.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active New York CNA License.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience.
- Experience using PointClickCare (PCC) EMR.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour
