Manufacturing Engineer (CNC Experience)
Location: Multiple Location across US(Onsite)
Travel: Approximately 30% (Domestic & International)
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineer with hands-on CNC manufacturing experience to support manufacturing operations at our client site in West Chester, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to grow in a fast-paced medical device manufacturing environment. Candidates with prior Johnson & Johnson (J&J) experience are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Support CNC machining operations and manufacturing processes.
- Assist with process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Design, and Operations teams to resolve production issues.
- Participate in equipment qualification, validation, and process documentation.
- Analyze manufacturing data and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and engineering documentation.
- Support root cause investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Provide engineering support during production and product transfers.
- Travel approximately 30%, both domestically and internationally, to support manufacturing sites and business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 2–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience working with CNC machining processes and manufacturing environments.
- Understanding of manufacturing drawings, GD&T, machining tolerances, and engineering documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting Johnson & Johnson (J&J) manufacturing or engineering projects.
- Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ), CAPA, and change control processes.
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Pay: $66,492.60 - $80,077.11 per year
