Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.
- Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and appropriate floor care techniques to ensure durability and shine.
- Clean restrooms thoroughly, restock supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met consistently.
- Handle industrial cleaning duties such as cleaning large equipment or specialized areas as needed.
- Conduct general facilities maintenance including light repairs, replacing fixtures or bulbs, and reporting larger issues promptly.
- Support custodial operations by organizing cleaning supplies and ensuring equipment is properly maintained.
- Assist with additional porter duties or light painting tasks to support overall facility upkeep.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing to maintain high-quality surfaces.
- Experience in residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow cleaning schedules and safety protocols diligently.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and operating cleaning equipment for extended periods.
