Laser Table Operator – Now Hiring
We’re looking for an experienced Laser Table Operator to run CNC laser cutting equipment and produce high‑quality metal parts for our fabrication team. This role is ideal for someone who’s comfortable in a fast‑paced shop environment and takes pride in accuracy, safety, and efficient machine operation.
What You’ll Do
- Set up, program, and operate CNC laser tables to cut metal plate and sheet to spec.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, cut lists, and BOMs.
- Verify and handle materials using cranes, forklifts, or vacuum lifters.
- Inspect parts for accuracy and quality using various measuring tools.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Track jobs and material usage in the ERP system.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
What You Bring
- Experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment (fiber or CO₂).
- Ability to read blueprints and identify material types and thicknesses.
- Basic CNC programming or nesting software familiarity.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work on your feet in a shop environment.
- Experience with plasma tables or press brakes is a plus.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
