Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble deli products with precision, following food safety standards and company guidelines
- Serve customers efficiently at the deli counter, providing friendly assistance and product recommendation
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, including food handling, bussing, and sanitation procedures
- Manage inventory levels by restocking deli items, rotating products for freshness, and noting supply needs
- Upsell products by suggesting complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Follow all food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of food items
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments; experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
