Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent patient management abilities, and a passion for supporting orthodontic treatments. As an Orthodontic Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with orthodontic procedures, managing patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of our orthodontic practice.
Duties
- Invisalign treatment, Itero Scanner
- You control your schedule. You make the appointments that work for you.
- Manage patient records with Eaglesoft, and DentiAI for accuracy and ease in charting.
- App Management for appointments with Patients
- Educate patients on orthodontic care instructions, appliance maintenance, and oral hygiene practices to promote optimal treatment outcomes.
- Perform chairside assisting duties in the general office when Orthodontics has down time
- Maintain infection prevention protocols and sterilization procedures to ensure a safe clinical environment aligned with healthcare infection control standards.
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with specialization or training in orthodontics preferred.
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft
- Knowledge of dental terminology, dental equipment, and clinical procedures related to orthodontics
- Strong understanding of anatomy relevant to orthodontic appliances.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry
- Ability to follow clinical confidentiality policies while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. Pay: $39.00 - $42.00 per hour
