Member Duties : The Bonner Program at George Mason University aims to provide low-income, first-generation students with access to education, leadership training, and employment through service-based opportunities. Bonner Leaders gain meaningful work experience, receive academic and career support, and are equipped to succeed in post-secondary education and beyond. We’re seeking a VISTA to help expand the program by supporting student retention, strengthening community partnerships, and building infrastructure for sustainability. The VISTA will build infrastructure to support the retention, academic success, and career readiness of Bonner Leader students. This will include editing and developing course materials for Bonner curriculum, creating assessment strategies to measure student learning, and conducting outreach to Bonner community partners and enhancing support structures for existing partners.
