The Residency is a coliving founder-in-residence program with two flagship houses in San Francisco. We provide a high-touch living and working environment for founders and builders, and our kitchen and common spaces are central to that experience.
About the Role
We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Kitchen Porter & House Support team member to keep our kitchen and house running smoothly day to day. This is a great fit for someone who takes pride in a clean, organized space and is willing to jump in wherever needed — from dishes to deliveries to general upkeep. While relevant experience is a plus, what matters most to us is showing up on time, taking initiative, and giving every shift full effort.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and properly store deliveries and supplies
- Keep storage and common areas organized and clutter-free
- Manage trash, recycling, and compost
- Help set up and break down for meals and house events
- Perform general labor tasks as needed to support house operations
- Wash dishes, cookware, and utensils throughout service
- Deep clean and maintain the kitchen, pantry, and common dining areas
- Support the Head Chef with basic prep and ingredient organization
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to [50 lbs]
- Eager to learn, receptive to direction, and willing to jump in wherever needed
- Trustworthy and professional, respectful of house privacy

Compensation: 25-30/hour, depending on experience
