Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with pipe installation, system maintenance, and repairs on construction sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building codes to support accurate plumbing work.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques safely and effectively.
- Support the installation of plumbing systems by measuring, cutting, fitting, and securing pipes according to specifications.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and properly handle tools and equipment after use.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while providing excellent customer service when interacting with clients or site managers.
Requirements
- Construction experience or background in construction plumbing is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with welding, pipe threading, hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, building codes, and safety procedures related to construction sites.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work safely with power tools and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Handyman experience or general maintenance skills are advantageous but not required.
