American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a 13-week travel contract in an Ortho/Trauma Unit, requiring at least one year of nursing experience and an active OK or Compact RN license.

Work in the Ortho/Trauma Unit of an acute care hospital in Oklahoma City, OK
-
Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

13-week contract assignment

Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate Compact RN license (eNLC) required

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required

Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Responsible for an assigned group of patients, including assessment, monitoring, medication administration, IV management, and care plan coordination

Assists physicians with examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatments
-
Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate

Educates patients and families on care plans and hospital procedures, including at discharge

All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period after 26 weeks of total work before being eligible for another contract

BSN is preferred but not required
