We are looking for a professional and compassionate Funeral Director and Embalmer with a passion for Funeral Service to join our family owned Funeral Home. We take great pride in providing a quality level of service to our families. The Director would be responsible for overseeing all activities in a funeral home, including, but not limited to embalming, arranging, directing funerals and burial services, transporting bodies, and conferring with family members to ensure final wishes are respected.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a valid Florida Funeral Director and Embalmer’s license
- Valid State issued driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record
- Bilingual Funeral Director is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple caseload while still maintain excellent family service
- Works on-call when required
- Strong embalming skills in compliance with the laws of health and sanitation
- Conduct and attends services regularly
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more
