Overview
Join our friendly and energetic bakery team as a Pastry Cook. In this role, you will create exceptional pastries, ensure smooth pastry kitchen operations, and use creativity for menu development. You will be part of a small but dedicated team of pastry cooks and cake decorators creating high quality, from-scratch products.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of doughs and batters for pastry products accurately according to provided recipes
- Maintain cleanliness or kitchen areas
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Test and/or create new menu items
Qualifications
- Pastry Degree is preferred
- Previous experience in bakery production is required without a pastry degree
- Basic math skills are required
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
