Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Lobby Attendant to create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and providing excellent hospitality service at the hotel lobby. Your proactive approach will help foster a positive first impression and uphold the high standards of our resort.
Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of the lobby area, including floors, furniture, and fixtures, through regular cleaning and floor care procedures
- Handle cleaning supplies and chemical agents safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines
- Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies or furniture with proper technique to prevent injury
- Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns
- Assist with janitorial tasks including trash removal, surface sanitization, and industrial cleaning when necessary
- Support hotel housekeeping management by coordinating custodial activities and ensuring compliance with safety standards
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a hospitality or industrial setting is preferred
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices is advantageous
- Knowledge of chemical agent handling, safety data sheets (SDS), and industrial cleaning techniques is highly desirable
- Experience in hotel environment or hospitality industry enhances your ability to deliver exceptional guest service
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently
