Pediatric Home Care Registered Nurse (RN) – Mableton, GA
Location: Mableton, GA 30126
Schedule: Fridays from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (8 hours per week), or two 4-hour shifts per week for candidates who prefer a split schedule.
Pay: $50–$55 per hour (based on experience)
MedTex Home Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 in-home care for a 2-year-old child with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, with G-Tube feeding. Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, attentive pediatric nursing care in the home
- Monitor the child’s condition and respond calmly to any changes
- Assist with positioning, comfort measures, and prevention of skin breakdown
- Administer medications as ordered and document carefully
- Support airway safety as needed
- Communicate clearly and kindly with the family and clinical supervisors
- Create a safe, compassionate, and nurturing care environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license
- Pediatric in-home care experience
- Availability Fridays 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Background check
- Experience caring for medically fragile or developmentally delayed children
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Dependable, patient-centered, and professional bedside manner
