FACILITIES SERVICES ATTENDANT
Position Summary
The Facilities Services Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, organization, and operational readiness of Club facilities, with particular attention to locker room operations and member amenities. This position provides hands-on housekeeping and facilities support throughout the Club and assists the Facilities Manager with routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and special projects to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members, guests, and employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Locker Room Operations and Member Service
- Maintain locker rooms to the Club’s standards for cleanliness, organization, appearance, and hospitality.
- Clean and sanitize locker rooms, restrooms, showers, vanities, and related member areas.
- Ensure towels, toiletries, linens, and other locker room amenities are fully stocked and properly presented.
- Assist members with locker room and facility needs and respond to requests promptly and professionally.
- Monitor locker room amenities and equipment for proper operation and report maintenance concerns.
- Assist with towel, laundry, and valet services as assigned.
- Clean and repair shoes as requested.
Cleaning and Facility Presentation
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, dining areas, offices, common spaces, and other assigned Club facilities.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and clean windows, mirrors, glass surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings.
- Remove trash and recycling and maintain sanitation standards throughout assigned areas.
- Conduct routine inspections for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and operational readiness.
- Ensure furniture, fixtures, and member-facing areas are properly arranged and maintained to Club standards.
Facilities and Maintenance Support
- Assist the Facilities Manager with routine maintenance, minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility inspections.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks involving fixtures, furniture, equipment, doors, hardware, plumbing, lighting, and other building components within the employee’s training and capabilities.
- Assist with seasonal maintenance activities and upkeep of sidewalks, parking areas, signage, lighting, and exterior structures as assigned.
- Support contractors and vendors with access, setup, cleanup, and project-related tasks as directed by the Facilities Manager.
- Report maintenance, safety, or equipment concerns promptly and assist with corrective work as assigned.
- Maintain maintenance work areas, tools, equipment, and supplies in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
Event and Operational Support
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including moving and arranging tables, chairs, and other equipment.
- Prepare meeting, banquet, and special-function spaces as assigned.
- Provide facilities support for Club events, projects, and other operational needs.
Inventory and Supplies
- Restock cleaning, locker room, maintenance, and facility supplies as needed.
- Maintain organized storage and supply areas.
- Report supply needs, shortages, damaged equipment, and inventory concerns to the Facilities Manager.
Qualifications
Required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and facility presentation.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with hands-on maintenance tasks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented approach.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
Preferred
- Housekeeping, facilities, maintenance, hospitality, or private club experience.
- Experience using basic hand tools, cleaning equipment, or maintenance equipment.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, cleaning equipment, hand tools, and basic maintenance equipment.
- Work may be performed indoors and outdoors with exposure to varying weather conditions.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
