$52,000 plus Full Benefits. 9:30 am to 6:00pm; Weekends and holidays required

Responsibilities of the Full Time Chef/Head Cook:

Daily food prep, cooking and service

Menu planning and development, recipe testing

Coordinate activities for dining rooms and kitchen, such as theatre nights, residents' choice days, outdoor events, holidays and marketing events

Monitor and insure cleanliness and sanitation of services areas, equipment and employee appearance

Train and assist Dietary Manager and aids
-
Hire dietary aids/dining attendants

Inventory and purchasing

Prepare operation reports and anaysis

Perform monthly inspections
Requirements:
of the Full Time Chef/Head Cook:
-
2-3 years of experience as a Chef
-
Experience in a long term care facility preferred, but not required

Sanitation Certificate
-
Food Handlers Certificate
-
Must have tolerance, patience, and understanding of older adults
