Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta Airport North is seeking a dependable, friendly, and energetic Breakfast Attendant / Room Attendant to join our team.
This position is primarily focused on our complimentary breakfast operation, ensuring our guests begin their day with a clean, welcoming, well-stocked, and enjoyable breakfast experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be comfortable working early mornings, and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
This is a cross-trained position, meaning the team member may also assist the Housekeeping Department with cleaning guestrooms, public areas, laundry, or other housekeeping duties based on hotel occupancy and operational needs.
Primary Responsibilities – Breakfast Attendant
The majority of this position will focus on breakfast operations, including:
- Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled early-morning shifts.
- Set up the breakfast area before service begins according to Hilton brand standards.
- Prepare and properly display hot and cold breakfast items.
- Maintain appropriate food temperatures and follow all food safety and sanitation requirements.
- Continuously monitor and replenish food, beverages, condiments, utensils, plates, cups, and other breakfast supplies.
- Keep breakfast counters, tables, chairs, floors, equipment, and surrounding areas clean throughout service.
- Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, professional assistance.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
- Monitor food quantities to reduce unnecessary waste while ensuring adequate availability for guests.
- Remove expired or improperly stored food according to hotel and food-safety procedures.
- Break down and thoroughly clean the breakfast area following service.
- Clean and sanitize breakfast equipment, counters, dishes, serving utensils, and food preparation areas.
- Properly store remaining food and supplies.
- Complete required breakfast logs, temperature checks, cleaning checklists, and inventory documentation.
- Notify management when food or supply inventory is running low.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and properly stocked breakfast storage area.
- Assist with receiving and organizing breakfast deliveries when necessary.
- Follow Hilton brand standards and all hotel food-safety procedures.
Secondary Responsibilities – Room Attendant / Housekeeping
When breakfast duties are completed or additional operational support is needed, this position may assist the Housekeeping Department with:
- Cleaning and preparing guestrooms according to hotel standards.
- Making beds and replacing linens.
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and guestroom surfaces.
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Removing trash and replacing guest amenities.
- Restocking towels, toiletries, and room supplies.
- Cleaning assigned public areas.
- Assisting with laundry operations as needed.
- Reporting maintenance concerns, damages, lost-and-found items, or unusual room conditions to management.
- Ensuring guestrooms are clean, organized, and inspection-ready.
- Following all hotel safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures.

Previous hotel, restaurant, breakfast, food service, or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements.
- Lift and carry supplies, linens, food products, and equipment.
- Push housekeeping carts and other hotel equipment.
- Work efficiently in both kitchen/breakfast and guestroom environments.
Schedule
Candidates must be comfortable with early-morning shifts, as breakfast preparation begins before breakfast service opens to guests.
Weekend and holiday availability is required based on hotel occupancy and scheduling needs.

Breakfast Attendant responsibilities are the primary focus of this position. Housekeeping/Room Attendant duties are performed as a secondary, cross-trained responsibility based on the operational needs of the hotel.
