Responsibilities:
- Help develop and implement individualized education plans for students.
-Follow goals that are written out for each student. Help write goals.
- Prepare lessons and take session notes
- Provide reading and writing intervention
- Serve as a mentor to students, offering guidance and support in both academic and social-emotional areas.
- Ability to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles.
Requirements:
- Must have a Master's degree in Educational Therapy, Education, or Special Education
- Experience being a tutor, teacher, or learning specialist.
- Training in multi-sensory programs like Lindamood-Bell, Slingerland, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson
Schedule:
- We are looking for someone to work at least 3:00-8:00pm Monday through Thursday PSD. Then any additional hours you'd want to offer are welcome (ex. earlier/later, Fridays-Sundays, etc.)
*The position can start this summer (no preference on start date as long as it's before the fall). Summer hours are completely flexible 8:00am-8:00pmPSD. We would want some time to grow your student load in order to have a full student load over several months. For example, we'd start with just a couple of students and then keep adding another when ready.

- Our most available hours are Monday-Thursday 2:30-8:30 PST. Hours outside of that are completely optional if you want to open them up (ex. mornings, weekends, etc.). Do these hours work for you long term?
- This role requires specialized training as a reading/writing specialists. Our team member needs to have formal training in a program like Lindamood-Bell, OG, Wilson, etc. and can do DIBELS assessments to monitor progress. We will not consider someone without this training. Which programs are you trained in?
- We are looking for team members who live in TN only at the moment (payroll is set up for this state only). Do you live in there?
