Job Summary
Join our team at the Mercer County Surgery Center as a Registered Nurse in the Pre-Op/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care in the Pre-Op/PACU setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments pre-op and post-op to ensure safe standards of care
- Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Manage airways and provide respiratory support as needed
- Utilize anatomy knowledge to assess patient conditions accurately
- Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infections
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Assist in acute pain management strategies
Requirements
- Licensed RN in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS
- Previous experience in outpatient surgery center or pre-op/pacu is a must
Schedule
- Currently seeking Per Diem as well as Full Time candidates
