About the Role
We are seeking a House Manager / Residential Coordinator to oversee daily operations of a 4-person CILA home supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
This is a working supervisory role in a small residential setting. The House Manager is responsible for both administrative oversight and active participation in direct care, including regularly stepping in to cover DSP shifts when needed to ensure continuity of care and adequate staffing.
This role ensures structure, safety, consistency, and quality of care within the home while also working alongside Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) as part of the care team.
Because services are provided 24/7, flexibility outside of standard hours is required. This includes reviewing shift reports, communicating with staff across all shifts, and filling open shifts when necessary, including evenings, weekends, or call-offs.
What You’ll DoResidential Oversight (Small Home Setting)
- Oversee daily operations of a 4-person CILA home
- Maintain a safe, structured, and person-centered environment
- Monitor quality of care and home conditions
- Ensure consistent implementation of individual service plans
Staff Supervision, Scheduling & Coverage
- Create and maintain DSP schedules
- Provide supervision, coaching, and support to DSP staff
- Ensure full staffing coverage across all shifts
- Actively work DSP shifts and provide direct care coverage as needed
- Respond to call-offs and staffing gaps in real time
Direct Support Responsibilities (Required)
- Provide hands-on DSP-level care as a core job function
- Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care
- Support community involvement and daily routines
- Participate in behavior and care supports as trained
Communication & Continuity of Care
- Review shift reports and documentation daily
- Communicate with DSPs across all shifts
- Ensure accurate handoffs and continuity between staff
- Maintain consistent team communication
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with state and agency CILA requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation and records
- Support DSP training and expectations
- Promote best practices in person-centered care
What We’re Looking For
- DSP certification (required or ability to obtain)
- Experience in IDD, CILA, or residential care preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Willingness to regularly work DSP shifts and provide direct care
- Ability to manage a small home environment independently
- Strong reliability, flexibility, and teamwork mindset

Schedule & Flexibility
- Primary schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- This is a working house manager role in a small 4-person CILA home
- Regular flexibility required for:
- Shift coverage (including evenings/weekends when needed)
- Staff call-offs or staffing gaps
- Communication across all shifts
- Operational needs outside standard hours
