Job Title: Inside Sales Representative
Department: Sales, Marketing & Operations
Reporting to: VP of Sales & VP of Operations
Pay rate: Will be based upon experience
Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting Jam’n Products Inc. by selling products, servicing existing customers, developing new customer relationships, and ensuring timely follow-up with existing and prospective accounts. This position also performs clerical, administrative, and operational support activities to assist the sales team and help maintain a smooth flow of communication between customers, Sales, Operations, and Finance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage existing customer accounts, sell company products, and identify opportunities to establish new accounts.
- Plan and organize daily work schedules to call on existing and prospective customers, sales outlets, and other trade contacts.
- Learn and understand each customer’s business needs in order to tailor sales presentations and product recommendations.
- Prepare customized quote sheets and sales presentations based on customer requirements.
- Submit customer orders to Operations and Finance using the appropriate sales and shipping forms.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure timely follow-up on quotes, orders, shipments, and customer needs.
- Keep management informed by submitting activity reports, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly or annual territory analyses as requested.
- Monitor competitors and gather current marketplace information, including pricing, products, new items, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, and market trends.
- Recommend improvements to products, services, and company policies based on customer feedback, sales results, and competitive developments.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, following up with customers, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Maintain accurate customer and prospect records within company contact files and historical reports.
- Support sales staff with clerical, administrative, and customer service-related tasks.
- Contribute to team goals and company objectives by completing related duties as assigned.
- Meet assigned sales goals, quotas, and performance expectations.
- Travel to trade shows, customer meetings, showroom presentations, and other industry events as needed.
- Assist with building product displays for the showroom, trade shows, and other industry events.
- Work weekends as needed based on company, customer, or trade show requirements.
Work Schedule
Regular work hours are:
- Monday through Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours, weekends, and travel may be required based on business needs.

- Proficient with computers, data entry, email, and standard office software.
- Ability to prepare professional customer communications, quote sheets, and reports.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Ability to lift boxes up to 25 lbs. and occasionally heavier items as needed.
- Ability to assist with building and setting up product displays for showrooms, trade shows, and industry events.
- Photography and Photoshop skills are a plus and add substantial value.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
