Description: As a Physical Rehab Tech, you will work hands-on with patients performing various modalities under the doctor and nurse's care plan. This position is essential to helping our patient's health and healing process.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in Treatment Plans: Work closely with the providers and complete the treatment plan with the patient. This may include: performing various modalities, supervising balance machines, hooking up patients to decompression tables, etc.
- Patient Care: Educate the patient on proper terminology and body mechanics
- Patient Monitoring: Report their responses to treatment, including changes in physical abilities, pain levels, and mobility.
- Equipment and Modalities: Operate therapeutic equipment (e.g., ultrasound machines, electrical stimulation devices, hot/cold packs) and ensure that treatment areas and equipment are clean, well-maintained, and safe.
Minimum Requirements and Skills:
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques (is preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and their families.
- Empathy and patience when assisting patients with rehabilitation.
- Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
We are looking for a full time and part time position.
