Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Valley Patient Care is looking for a motivated and dependable Part-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our team!
We are seeking an NP who is confident working independently and comfortable providing both Primary Care and Urgent Care services in a busy outpatient setting.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Provide primary care, urgent care, and sick visits
- Perform physical exams and preventive care visits
- Manage conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol
- Order and interpret labs, X-rays, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic testing
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Perform minor in-office procedures within scope of practice
- Provide patient education and appropriate follow-up care
- Complete timely and accurate EMR documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care
Qualifications
- Active Virginia Nurse Practitioner license
- Board Certified NP
- Family Medicine, Primary Care, or Urgent Care experience preferred
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- eClinicalWorks (ECW) experience is a plus
- Spanish-speaking is a plus
Position
Part-Time Flexible weekday and weekend availability preferred.
