American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position requiring a minimum of one year of CVICU experience in a Level I trauma setting.

Work in the Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (Cardio PICU) of a hospital setting
-
Pediatric patient population with cardiovascular and complex health conditions
-
Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

13-week contract
-
Active RN license (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or Compact/eNLC)

Current certifications required (AHA only): BLS and PALS
-
Minimum of 1 year of CVICU nursing experience
-
CVICU experience in a Level I trauma setting required

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Basic computer skills

Monitors and responds to physiological data, administers medications, and manages IV infusions and blood products

Collaborates with physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures

Engages patients and families in care planning throughout hospitalization and at discharge

Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate

BSN from a board-approved program is preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Travelers who have previously worked at this facility may reapply after a 6-month separation period following a maximum of 26 weeks (one extension) of total service

Compliance with onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, medical requirements) must be completed promptly after acceptance — this facility does not allow start date delays due to non-compliance
