Experienced Construction Plumber
Spartan Plumbing & Drains is seeking an experienced Construction Plumber with extensive knowledge of all phases of residential and commercial plumbing—from underground installation through final trim-out.
The ideal candidate must be dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of completing construction plumbing projects accurately and efficiently while following approved plans, plumbing codes, and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform all phases of new-construction and remodeling plumbing, including underground, rough-in, top-out, and trim-out
- Read, understand, and work from blueprints, plumbing plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Install water, sewer, waste, vent, gas, and fixture piping systems
- Install plumbing fixtures, water heaters, valves, pumps, and related equipment
- Determine proper pipe sizing, elevations, measurements, and fixture locations
- Coordinate work with general contractors, project managers, inspectors, and other trades
- Identify conflicts or discrepancies between jobsite conditions and construction plans
- Complete work according to Florida plumbing codes, manufacturer requirements, and company standards
- Prepare installations for required inspections and make corrections when necessary
- Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area
- Accurately document work performed, materials used, and project progress
- Protect customers’ property and maintain a professional appearance on every jobsite
Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience in construction plumbing
- Strong knowledge of all plumbing phases, from underground through final trim-out
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints independently
- Thorough understanding of plumbing codes, proper installation methods, and jobsite safety
- Ability to lay out plumbing systems and complete work with minimal supervision
- Experience working on residential, commercial, multifamily, or remodeling projects
- Ability to troubleshoot installation issues and make sound field decisions
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift heavy materials, use ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks
- Must be dependable, punctual, professional, and able to communicate effectively
- Plumbing license or relevant certifications are preferred but not required
