Position Summary:
This position will work closely with the Logistics Manager and CEVA to ensure accurate receiving, storage, inventory processing, order fulfillment, and shipment activities. The ideal candidate will have strong inventory control and auditing experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. A solid work history and proven experience managing inventory processes are critical for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and validate 3PL/CEVA warehouse activities to ensure processes and company requirements are being followed.
- Oversee receiving, inspection, storage, picking, restocking, and outbound shipment activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and validate inbound and outbound transactions.
- Perform inventory audits, cycle counts, and annual inventory activities to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with the appropriate teams to resolve issues.
- Validate high-value inventory and ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained.
- Review and validate 3PL records for receiving, shipping, inventory movements, and order fulfillment.
- Monitor delivery, cost, quality, and other operational performance metrics/KPIs.
- Coordinate with Purchasing to resolve purchase order and receiving discrepancies.
- Support WIP inventory activities and maintain accurate material records.
- Prepare reports related to receiving, inventory, delivery, and warehouse activities.
- Assist with training inventory personnel, 3PL providers, and other staff as needed.
- Ensure warehouse operations follow safety, quality, and company procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and support Lean, Six Sigma, ISO, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support Manufacturing, Logistics, Purchasing, and other internal teams with inventory-related issues.
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns related to received merchandise.
- Ensure the warehouse maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of solid, relevant experience with a stable work history.
- Strong experience in inventory control and inventory processing.
- Proven experience with warehouse receiving and distribution operations.
- Experience performing inventory audits, cycle counts, and inventory validations.
- Experience monitoring or coordinating 3PL warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory transactions, stock levels, material movement, and discrepancies.
- Experience with WMS/ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Forklift certification/license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with CEVA or another 3PL provider.
- Electronics manufacturing or distribution experience.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO, or continuous improvement programs.
- Experience monitoring operational KPIs and quality metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
