Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Painter/Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to various industrial components and assembling fabricated parts with precision. Your expertise in handling tools, materials, and equipment will contribute to the production of durable, visually appealing products.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal adhesion.
- Apply industrial or auto body paint using airless paint spraying equipment, ensuring even coverage and high-quality finishes.
- Inspect parts for coverage, adhesion, and finish quality; Identify and communicate defects including orange peel, fisheye, contamination, this coverage and color consistency.
- Unmask and assemble fabricated parts using handtools to insert helicoils, dowel pins, and other various hardware to meet customer specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with manufacturing processes including assembly, fabrication, and industrial painting.
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery, hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and machining operations.
- Strong understanding of materials handling, auto painting techniques, airless paint spraying, and auto body repair.
- Ability to pass a PFT & FIT test; Job requires wearing a respirator at times
- Warehouse experience is a plus; familiarity with lean manufacturing practices is highly desirable.
- NADCAP/AS9100 compliance experience preferred
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
