Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid teaching certificate (ZG)
- Dual Certification preferred
- Highly Qualified Teacher status
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate problem solving skills that address challenges that may arise in the classroom
- Promote creative thinking opportunities for students
- Value a collaborative approach to teaching and learning
- Incorporate the principles of design thinking into planning and teaching
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging, standards-aligned instruction to students
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment where all students feel comfortable
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to support student success
- Communicate with families to share student experiences and celebrate progress
- Maintain an organized, welcoming, and well-managed space
- Support additional building needs (e.g., recess supervision) as part of the school team
- Participate in staff meetings, professional learning, and school initiatives
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative school culture
